Abstract

Seven years of accredited analytical work: UKAS-standard environmental analysis at the Environment Agency's National Laboratory Service — including formal samples used in legal prosecutions — and metals analysis of the public water supply by Agilent ICP-MS at South West Water. MChem, University of Bradford, specialising in computational chemistry.

MChem from the University of Bradford, then seven years in analytical labs — UKAS-accredited environmental analysis at the Environment Agency, including samples used in legal prosecutions, and ICP-MS metals analysis at South West Water through the pandemic.

7 years in analytical chemistry

— ICP-MS, GC-MS, and polarised light microscopy — from university outreach to frontline water quality.

The lab habits — validate everything, find the root cause — now run my engineering. The full history is on the CV.
